Black Sherif hints at an impending collaboration with Mabel, teasing fans with the prospect of new music.

Ghanaian artist Black Sherif has teamed up with English-Swedish singer Mabel for a new track titled “Zero.”

Black Sherif took to social media to tease the visuals for his latest song “Zero,” featuring British singer Mabel. Expressing gratitude, the Ghanaian-born artist stated, “Art we made at our most vulnerable state, thank you for performing with me @Mabel ZERO out on Friday.” The song is scheduled for release on February 9, 2024, as confirmed by Mabel who reposted a snippet of the teased visuals.

Earlier this year, Black Sherif released a single titled “January 9th” in celebration of his birthday. He also contributed to the soundtrack compilation of Michael B. Jordan’s Creed III movie, alongside Bas and Kel-P on the track “Blood, Sweat and Tears.” Managed by American rapper J Cole’s Dreamville label, the project has received acclaim, with the movie achieving box office success. Additionally, the track has earned a nomination for an award at the forthcoming National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Image Awards.

After Ghana’s Black Stars suffered defeats against Cape Verde and Mozambique, Black Sherif, also known as Blacko, took to social media to express his sentiments.

Following the team’s second loss at AFCON 2023, he shared various memes and reacted to the defeat by posting the caption “embarrassing.” This comment specifically addressed the 4-0 thrashing by Mozambique against the Black Stars.
